Before a new line produces product, a new system goes live, or a process changes, someone has to prove it works as intended and document that proof so an inspector will accept it. Validation professionals do that work, and companies rely on them at their busiest moments: facility start-ups, system implementations, technology transfers and inspection readiness. We help validation engineers find the projects that fit their experience.
What hiring teams look for
Employers ask about the lifecycle you have executed: validation planning, requirements and risk assessment, protocol writing, execution, deviation handling and summary reports. For computer system validation they want experience with GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11 and data integrity, and with the systems involved, such as laboratory, manufacturing, quality or ERP platforms. For commissioning and qualification they ask about equipment, utilities and facilities you have qualified, and for process and cleaning validation about the products and processes you supported.
Clear technical writing matters as much as technical skill. Protocols and reports are read by reviewers and inspectors long after the work is done, so hiring managers value candidates whose documents stand on their own.
Engagement types
Validation work is often project-based, which creates many contract roles with defined milestones and frequent extensions. Manufacturers with steady validation programs also hire permanent engineers and leads. Your recruiter will be clear about duration, location and travel before you decide.
